Mr. Felice is currently the Director of Bands and Coordinator of Fine Arts in Little Elm ISD. He is also currently the Associate Conductor of the Metropolitan Winds, the premier civic band in the Dallas metroplex, and the Orchestra Director at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. Before coming to Little Elm, Mr. Felice served as the Associate Director of Bands at DeSoto High School, as well as seven years at the middle school level. Six of those years were as the head director at Edgar Martin Middle School in Lafayette, Louisiana. During his tenure there, Mr. Felice's bands received the highest possible ratings at both the district and state levels. While at Edgar Martin, Mr. Felice received the "Teacher of the Year" Award in 1999. His bands have also competed in the Best in Class Championships in the Meyerson Symphony Center, National Adjudicators Invitational Festival in San Antonio, the All-American Music Festival in Orlando, the Breckenridge Music Festival, and the Gulfcoast Showcase of Music in South Padre.

Mr. Felice has served as a guest honor band conductor, adjudicator, marching clinician, drill instructor, and low brass technician. While at L.S.U. working on his Master's degree, Mr. Felice served as a teaching assistant with the band department. He was responsible for teaching each of the various concert ensembles as well as extensive work with the "Golden Band from Tigerland."

As a euphonium player, Mr. Felice has performed with the Metropolitan Winds, L.S.U. Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Low Brass Ensemble as well as with the graduate tuba-euphonium quartet, Tsunami. This quartet placed third in the International Tuba-Euphonium Quartet Competition which was held in Lahti, Finland, in the summer of 2001.

Mr. Felice received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Louisiana State University and holds membership in the National Band Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Texas Music Educators Association. Mr. Felice and his wife, Ginger, are most proud of their two wonderful children, Claire Isabella and Ryan Andrew Felice.

 
Celestino Sosa is currently the Assistant Band Director at Little Elm High School and Director of the Little Elm Color Guard and Winter Guard programs. Prior to coming to Little Elm, Mr. Sosa taught for two years at Cleburne High School where his bands made 1st division ratings in marching, as well as being a finalist in the Area 4A Marching Contest in 2005. Under his direction the Cleburne Winter Guard won the Silver Medal in the NTCA Scholastic AAA division. While in DeSoto ISD for nine years, Mr. Sosa's symphonic bands were awarded numerous 1st division ratings in concert and sight.reading, Outstanding Band Awards at Sandy Lake Festival, DC Festivals, and the All-American Music Festival in Orlando.

He was also part of the Directing Staff for the 1995 UIL State Marching Band Finalist in Class 5A as well as the 2002 Tournament of Roses Parade. His color guard and winter guard program, known as DeSoto "Alliance," took many outstanding color guard award captions in marching contest and winter guard, which include the 2000 & 2001 NTCA Scholastic Championships and was a 3 time WGI Scholastic A Imperial Division Semi-finalist at the World Championships.

Prior to DeSoto, he taught at Belton high school where his concert bands were a consistent UIL 1st division band. He began his first band directing position at Rancier Middle School in Killeen, Texas in 1992. Mr. Sosa has been an adjudicator, instructor, choreographer, and consultant for many bands and color guards throughout the state of Texas which include Belton, Burnet, Canton, DeSoto, Killeenǐ and Midland Lee to name a few. This will be Mr. Sosa's 14th year teaching in the public schools and the 25th year consulting in the band and Color guard arena. Mr. Sosa currently resides in Midlothian, Texas. He is a member of the TMEA, TBA, NTCA, and TMAA associations.

 
Mr. O'Glee is the band director at Lakeside Junior High School. He also team teaches beginners at Colin Powell Intermediate School. Mr. O'Glee has been with Little Elm ISD for 13 years with the last 6 years in his current position. Prior to coming to Little Elm Mr. O'Glee spent 2 years as head band director in Van Alstyne ISD and 8 years in Carrollton Farmer Branch ISD with 5 of those years as head director at Dewitt Perry Junior High and 3 years as assistant director at Newman Smith High School.

During a musical career that has spanned the last 30 years Mr. O'Glee taught privately in the DFW area as well as adjudicated many solo and ensemble contests at both UIL and ISD levels. Early in his career Mr. O'Glee did marching band show design and marching clinics in the North Texas area. His bands over the years have been awarded many first divisions as well as several Sweepstakes awards. As a tuba player, Mr. O'Glee has played professionally in the DFW area since 1977 which includes many years of performing at public events such as Rangers, Cowboys, and Maverick games. In the world of Traditional Jazz he has performed extensively at Art festivals, Jazz festival, and private functions.

During his years at Little Elm ISD Mr. O'Glee has had the privilege to act as Master of Ceremonies at numerous district and community functions and presently enjoys spending leisure time with his family and friends living on Lake Lewisville.

 

Justin D. Whitford is currently the Assistant Band Director at Lakeside Junior High School in Little Elm.  Mr. Whitford arrives in Texas from Augusta, GA where he has been teaching for seven years.  While in Augusta, Mr. Whitford taught for the last six years at Evans Middle School in Evans, GA.  Bands under Mr. Whitford’s direction have consistently received Superior ratings at Georgia Music Educators Association’s Tenth District Large Group Performance Evaluations.  In addition to teaching middle school, Mr. Whitford served on the faculty of the University of South Carolina, Aiken as the adjunct horn instructor. 

 

As a hornist, Mr. Whitford has performed with such groups as The Augusta Opera, Augusta Players, Columbia County Choral Society, Savannah River Winds and Aiken Playhouse as well as various solo and ensemble performances at area centers of worship.  He was also a founding member of the Greene Street Brass Quintet and performed with the Georgia Brass Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Fred Mills of the Canadian Brass.

 

Mr. Whitford received his education from The University of Georgia in Athens, GA where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor in Music Education and Master of Music Education.  During his education he has received several honors both academically and through his performance.  He was named the Georgia Music Teachers Association’s Convention Recitalist and was an inaugural recipient of the Georgia Music Educators Association’s New Teacher Scholarship.  Mr. Whitford’s Professional Affiliations include Pi Kappa Lambda, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, The Texas Bandmasters Association, The Texas Music Educators Association, The Georgia Music Educator’s Association, where he served as district secretary, Music Educator’s National Conference and has been included in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

 
Mr. Gee, a 31 year veteran educator, is a native Texan, a product of the public school systems of both Texas and Louisiana. He received both the Bachelor's of Music Education and Master's of Music Education degrees at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Mr. Gee's teaching career began in 1976 with the Ouachita Parish School System in Monroe, Louisiana where he taught twenty years, the final fifteen with the prestigious Ouachita Parish High School Bands. He then held the positions of Director of Bands with the Mesquite ISD, and, most recently, the Garland ISD.

Bands under his direction have earned consistent superior ratings at the district, region, and state levels. Individual students within these programs distinguished themselves with numerous all-district, all-region, and all-state honors. In 1987, the Ouachita Parish HS band won the large-class division of the Six Flags Invitational, and in 1988, were a featured performing group at the CBDNA-NBA convention. Mr. Gee was awarded in 1988, the NBA Citation of Excellence, and in 1990, he was named as the youngest inductee into the BandWorld "Legion of Honor". He has been listed five times, via student nomination, with the Who's Who in Education organization. Under his direction, and the direction of the two immediate predecessors, the OPHS bands received 32 consecutive sweepstakes ratings at the district and state levels. In demand as a clinician and adjudicator, these travels have taken him into the states of Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Florida.

An avid hobbyist, Mr. Gee's pastimes include travel, photography, boating, scuba, and gardening. As an oboist and woodwind specialist, he is in demand as a free-lance performer and as a consultant.

 
Mr. Hale has taught percussion in the Little Elm School District for the last four years. Mr. Hale graduated from Lamar University with a B.S. in Music and Masters in Music. For the last twenty years he has played in the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex in various musical settings. As well as playing professionally, Mr. Hale has taught private lessons extensively. He has performed with artists such as Rusty Weir, John Anderson, The Platters, and Smokin-Joe Kubek as well as the Beaumont, Irvine, and Richardson Symphonies.

Mr. Hale offers a well balanced approach to his teaching by incorporating all styles of music for the drum set, mallets, and all percussion instruments. He has had much success as a drum-line instructor and clinician in the North Texas area.
